Occupational Health PR

Our clients provide the equipment, training and management services that help employers to prevent the health problems that the modern working environment can pose to their workforce.

Our teams have worked in the occupational health sector for long enough to have seen the dramatic change that has taken place in the legislation covering the health of people at work. Every employer has a responsibility to understand and prevent any risk to the continued good health of employees and this responsibility has increased since the introduction of the Corporate Manslaughter Law.

It is this expertise that we use to help our clients influence and change the way people think about occupational health and in turn think about those companies and organisations working to help prevent ill health.

BSIF 'It's in your hands' campaign

The British Safety Industry Federation continues to raise awareness of the importance of good hand care

Thousands of people suffer from work-related dermatitis every year. According to the Labour Force Survey, in 2007/08 an estimated 20,000 individuals who worked in the last 12 months suffered "skin problems" which they believed to be work-related. The British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) estimates that a realistic occupational figure is between 160,000 and a quarter of a million new sufferers every year.
The 'It's in your hands' campaign has provided the opportunity for the BSIF to work together with the HSE for the first time. The outcome has been that the message and advice is both consistent and amplified and widely distributed, maximising its potential for positive impact in almost all areas of employment
