Occupational Health PR

Our clients provide the equipment, training and management services that help employers to prevent the health problems that the modern working environment can pose to their workforce.

Our teams have worked in the occupational health sector for long enough to have seen the dramatic change that has taken place in the legislation covering the health of people at work. Every employer has a responsibility to understand and prevent any risk to the continued good health of employees and this responsibility has increased since the introduction of the Corporate Manslaughter Law.

It is this expertise that we use to help our clients influence and change the way people think about occupational health and in turn think about those companies and organisations working to help prevent ill health.

British Safety Council

Campaign to promote asbestos awareness

In a bid to help drive down statistics, the British Safety Council wanted to promote its half day course designed to raise awareness of the risks to those who could potentially disturb asbestos at work or who may influence how asbestos work is carried out.

The British Safety Council’s main targets were tradesmen and SMEs and therefore we embarked on a regional media campaign. A press release was drafted for each region urging businesses to ensure they were fully aware of the dangers they potentially faced. Each press release was tailored with regional and local statistics from the Health and Safety Executive on the number of workers killed from asbestos related diseases.

The campaign achieved great results - 45 clippings in regional and local newspapers and websites across the UK.
